Sr. Director, Statistical Analysis

We are currently looking for a Sr. Director, Statistical Analysis to help in the science and art of deploying statistics and optimization to solve high-value financial business problems.
Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Lead a team of statisticians in creating new models, tracking established models, and applying statistical thinking to new business domains.
Project Delivery: Identify changes required in company practices, define project scope, execute and evaluate projects, manage individuals effectively, champion new ideas, and influence senior leaders.
Statistical Practice Development: Develop understanding of the company's broad statistical needs in order to design, develop, and deploy systematic improvements across the organization.Required Qualifications:Masters or higher degree in statistics, economics or econometrics with 5+ years of applied experienceExperienced team manager
Superior communications skills
Ability to create and lead complex projects
Strong business acumen
Accomplished user of classic statistical tools (for example, linear models, logistic regression, hypothesis testing, sampling)Preferred Qualifications:Ph.D. in statistics, economics or econometrics with 5+ years of applied experienceSolid financial industry experience
Excellent teaching skills and extensive experience in leading change in complex business environments
