Key Responsibilities
Develop business rules for compiling and maintaining the Equifax mortgage related databases.Work closely with technology to ensure functionality is designed and implemented according to specifications.Create metrics to track the ongoing quality across a variety of dimensions-accuracy, completeness, timeliness, etc. Periodically measure data quality through external customer surveys and competitive benchmarkingAnalyze metrics and database statistics in order to prioritize areas for data quality improvementWork effectively across all parts of the organization-sales, technology, marketing, operations, predictive sciences to promote and ensure the highest level of data quality.Be the Equifax property data expert. Develop presentations, analysis, and other methods to express the external voice to Equifax customers on property data quality and nest practices.Work closely with Data Acquisition team to test and integrate new sources of property data, demographic data, telephone numbers, and address hygiene processes.Consult with product management and mortgage leadership on the creation of new data-related mortgage products.Ensure legislation and privacy policies regarding data use are effectively administered.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree from 4-year college/university10+ years experience in information business with relevant experience in the mortgage industry working with property data.Strong and deep knowledge of data used in the mortgage industry including property data, credit data, AVMs, LTVs, etc.Broad knowledge of the mortgage industry. Specific experience in the use of property and credit data for mortgage pre-screening, cross-selling, and database marketing applications.Direct marketing technical expertise in terms of data compilation, database design, data quality processes, business rule development, order fulfillment, model scoring, etc.Strong leadership skills/experience with direct management experience and proved ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environmentAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paces start-up environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong project management and organizational skillsVery strong analytical skills and business acumenMicrosoft Office proficientStrong technical skills including: relational database, ETL tools, database design, list selection systems, etc.Direct marketing technology skills: address hygiene, geocoding, NCOA, list order and fulfillment systems, etc.
