Sr. Database Marketing Analyst

Commerce Bank is looking for an ideal candidate for our Sr. Database Marketing Analyst position in our Kansas City office. This analyst will be responsible for providing database solutions that resolve complex business problems by developing and supporting database structures. Other responsibilities include:
- Development of requirements and timelines for all projects;
- Database design, maintenance and enhancement;
- Evaluation and recommendation of new database technologies;
- Ongoing support of existing database structures;
- Coordination with IT personnel to design, test and implement changes to warehouse or source system databases.Ideally, the candidate must have the following requirements:
- Degree or trade school certification in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database programming and design including 1 year of experience working with SQL Server, Visual Basic and MS Access including security required;
- 1 year of experience in managing projects;
- Demonstrated strong problem solving, analytical and quantitative analysis skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Self-starter with a desire to strengthen client relationships through proactive problem solving;
- Team playerThe following are preferred:
- Database migration knowledge from Access to SQL Server
- Working knowledge of enterprise reporting and querying tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports or Business Objects;
- Experience in Financial Services or Lending industry
- Other software development experience including .net web development.
