Sr. Business Analyst - Treasury

Division: Corporate OKCCategory: Information SystemsThis position located in Oklahoma City, will provide technical advice and support to the various departments within Treasury and Financial Accounting and will act as a liaison between these departments and all groups in the Business Information & Technology department (BI&T). Primarily this person will work with the Treasury to provide solutions for the business requirements defined by the group. This person will have responsibility for the customer facing technologies leveraged by Treasury and will be expected to become proficient in their function and design in order to provide guidance on their appropriate use. This position muse possess or have the ability to learn those technical and application skills necessary to modify and maintain technical applications and data structures in accordance with established standards within BI&T in a cost effective and productive manner. The professional filling this position must have the highest ethical standards and understand and respect the confidentiality requirements of the position with regards to personnel data, processes and issues.
Job Description:
-Establish trusted relationships within the business groups they support and effectively manage those relationships through open and honest communication.
Provide liaison role between the supported departments and all groups in the BI&T department.
Facilitate and/or lead the supported departments in process development (or redevelopment) efforts to ensure optimal uses of information technology
Develop business technology requirements and specifications as well as provide hands-on development and implementation.
Advise the leadership of the supported departments regarding technology decisions
Develop and deliver requirements validation presentations
Develop project proposals and statements of work
Conduct needs assessments and/or process facilitation with representatives of the supported departments to identify key system solutions, information, and integration requirements
Facilitate integration of disparate systems.
Provide backup to the supported departments’ product specialists for system administration and maintenance.
Manage multiple requests in an organized manner according to the priorities established by the business.
Collaborate with other disciplines in BI&T to ensure appropriate departmental response and support to business and project requirements.
Familiarity with banking data transmission standards as well as systems currently in use in Treasury including XRT
Understanding of Treasury functionality and process
REQUIREMENTS
-Undergraduate degree in business or information systems required
5+ years experience working as a business analyst in IT or Treasury and/or Financial Accounting coordinating with an information technology department. Project management experience specific to Financial Accounting/Planning systems implementations will be considered.
Proficiency in the use of all applications in the Microsoft Office Suite
Must be assertive, analytical and demonstrate initiative.
Must possess excellent documentation skills both for solutions and work processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical situations.
Must be able to deal logically and effectively with company senior management, departmental employees and outside personnel
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure and follow though with assignments under limited supervision.
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must have effective judgment skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
