Sr. Branch Manager

The Senior Branch Manager is responsible for all facets of management and performance of their branch office as well as an additional branch or branches and/or small internal department. Ability to develop objectives, initiatives, practices, procedures for all locations they supervise and be responsible for making sure goals and objectives are met. Must have strong management skills that lead to the creation and continuity of a strong and stable team. Support key initiatives and incorporate into the sales process.

What will you be doing?

The following duties/responsibilities apply to all branches/departments the Sr. Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing:

*Assure the timely, accurate and lawful operations of the branch/department.
*Responsible for maintaining building space, appearance and equipment as needed. This will include directing the maintenance, securing supplies and working with FAB’S fixed asset department.
*Manage all facets of branch banking, including but not limited to: general knowledge of software and platform systems, security policies, retail, mortgage and commercial loan originations, policies and procedures relative to new accounts opening, cash controls and audit functions.
*Participate in the selection of personnel and assist in the proper training and development of new employees.
*Responsible for all sales and promotion of bank products/services and the development of commercial relationships, both depository and lending. Also responsible for referring business to other areas of the bank.
*Work towards improving the bank’s profitability by making sound authorization approvals, fostering cross selling activities, developing new business, retarding account closures and making cost effective expenditure decisions.
*Active participation in local community and service organizations for the purpose of increasing branch awareness and business development.
REQUIREMENTS
What do you need to qualify?

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Two years of retail banking or related experience in a financial service or service industry. The employee must have a proven track record of successful sales performance. The employee must have experience in personnel and sales management.
