Sr. Applications Systems Analyst
The Applications Systems Analyst is a business analysis and systems integration position in Albany, NY. The ASA will gather and define business objectives and scope of requirements by interfacing with users and team members. Will analyze, implement and test complex technical solutions. Experience in a distributed environment and client/server integration is important. Heavy design, integration and testing experience is important.
REQUIREMENTS
Required:
-Strong experience with client/server and windows environment
-Strong experience with integrating vendor business (banking) applications in a Windows environment including server and workstation configuration experience
-Cross-functional knowledge and/or experience within the banking industry with strong emphasis on Item Processing (check processing)-Strong system develoment project lifecycle experience from requirements gathering to implementation and testing.
-Strong system analysis/design and integration experience (ten or more years)
-Good Windows server O/S (2000/2003) and workstation (2000/XP) experience
-Distributed skills including Windows, Java, and C++Desirable (NOT REQUIRED):
-Visual Basic, WebSphere Architecture, 7780 Capture Platform (WISE IP), and Mainframe exposure (JCL, COBOL, etc.).
-Bachelor Degree
-MS Project, Lotus Notes, PVCS, ITG, LDRPS, Troux Blueprinting and MS Office suite
-Proficient with UNIX, Oracle, Java and XML
-Knowledge and/or experience with high speed image processing and image archive technologies.
