Solaris Unix Admin

Our client, located in downtown Chicago, has a need for an experienced PERMANENT UNIX Solaris Administrator that has at least 5 years of Unix Administration using Solaris and preferably combined with AIX, and Linux. This is a great opportunity to join a very dynamic financial services company which uses leading edge technology!

Primary responsibilites will include: Building UNIX Solaris Servers, Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Patching. Experience with one or more of the following SUN servers is highly desirable; 15K, 10K, 6900, 6800, 880, 480, 280, etc. The right candidate should have at least 5 years of SOLID experience with the following skills:

UNIX Solaris 8
Veritas
Volume Manager
VVR
Veritas Clustering
Sun Equipment

AIX, Linux, Weblogic, and Sybase would be a HUGE PLUS!!!

Off hours and on call duties will be required
