Small Business Banker 1

The Broker and Business Banking Sales Assistant Officer, is responsible for supporting the sales efforts of Brokers, Business Relationship Officers and CLOs and other Business Banking personnel, in selling Business Real Estate Financing products. He/she consults with bankers to provide product and process information, assist bankers in completing BREF applications, perform quality reviews of applications pre-submission to ensure completeness and correctness, and to set expectations regarding stipulations and time frames.This position is a high contact role with the majority of the time spent on the phone (primarily inbound with some outbound calls as well). Performance goals are focused on overall performance and banker/customer satisfaction.Position duties include:

Act as a liaison between Brokers, Business Bankers and BREF Product Managers, Operations Managers and Team members

Field calls from Brokers and Bankers regarding BREF Policy and Procedures

Educate Brokers and Bankers regarding BREF Product and Procedures

Field Escalation issues and solve problems

Identify customer Needs/Concerns and relay to BREF Management

Identify banker Needs/Concerns and relay to BREF Management

Stay Current with all BREF Policies and Procedures

Maintain access data base regarding Who Called and What Issues were discussed

Occasionally participate in Training Sessions and or Teleconferences

Participate in sales meetings, skills building and role playing sessions

Sell/encourage product
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:Degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of Real Estate lending (small business a plus)
