Service Technician

An ADT Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert. Alleviates concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. Advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
2. Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
3. Read blueprints, building, electrical and sprinkler plans in order to complete equipment repairs.
4. Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
5. Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
6. Repair any physical banking equipment (drive ups, pneumatic tubing, safety deposits, etc.)7. Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line. Skills: Excellent communication skills. Ability to operate hand and power tools. Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times. Other:Valid driver’s license required and Permanent Employee Registration Card.
