Proofread and edit direct mail, internet and telephone script and other marketing materials and related marketing documentation for accuracy, clarity and consistency

Ensure product contains all relevant compliance disclosures and is consistent with compliance documentation concerning usage and marketing claims. Recognize potential issues and consult Compliance Department for evaluation

Ensure final product matches intended offer by analyzing offer information and developing thorough product knowledge

Write and/or rework direct mail copy to successfully market new products or tests

Partner with the business to assist in the development of new creative packages

Maintain documentation of specific product and style information to ensure consistency of implementation

Negotiate/resolve quality and scheduling issues

Initiate and pursue opportunities for product and process improvement

Effectively communicate ideas to peers, customers and management

Communicate learning/best practices across department

Train and mentor teammates
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Technical editing in a LEAN  production process with previous experience preferred

Good written/oral communication and teamwork skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver expected results with high quality and timeliness in a production environment

Quality and detail orientated

Excellent problem solving skills
