Michael Page International is currently searching for a corporate income tax accountant for a large telecom company near Dallas, TX. Candidates will:Prepare federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns and estimates for corporations.Provide data for federal and state audits.Prepare Annual reports. Maintain and monitor calendar for compliance and accounting due dates.Perform preliminary research on technical issues to formulate a basis for tax return filing positions.Prepare monthly tax provision entries, FAS 109 reports, account reconciliations, and effective tax rate analysis.$60,000-$70,000 plus 11% bonus and terrific benefitsRef: 1141285
REQUIREMENTS


Candidates must have:
2 plus years experience in federal and state income tax preparation and tax accounting.General knowledge of income tax laws, income tax accounting under FAS 109, and GAAP rules.Strong analytical skills and organized work habits.Strong PC skills, especially in the use of excel.Strong written and oral communications skills.Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.Big 4 and multi-state experience preferred.
