Senior QA Engineer

Description:•This position will be responsible for leading, defining and maintaining the quality assurance team, procedures and technologies for DoubleClick's industry-leading DART Enterprise product.
•Successful candidates will have to take control of our quality assurance process and all the related technologies, environment and scenarios (including load-testing) required to ensure successful development life-cycle and delivery.A mandatory requirement for this position is that besides Lead QA experience, we are looking for an individual with a Software Engineering / Development background. Ideally in C++, but Java is also acceptable
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:•Work with both development and QA team to design and implement testing/business requirements quickly and efficiently with a focus on automation and documentation.
•Responsible for openly communicating and collaborating with all departments including support and consulting when working on customer reported bugs.•Actively share knowledge and responsibility with other team members located in various geographic locations (New York, California, Europe, Asia, India, etc.)
•Maintain and build upon legacy infrastructure, as well as build new quality assurance tools, products and application.Skills:
•BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.•5+ years of lead Quality Assurance experience, including but not limited to unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, etc. Experience and knowledge of best practices with both “white” and “black box” methodologies.
•Solid experience designing, deploying and maintaining test environments, test automation, performance testing, source control, security testing, and patch analysis. Experience testing scenarios on various OS using combination of custom tools and/or commercial products.
•Experience load testing real-time multi-tier architectures or ability to demonstrate a solid approach to testing that kind of environment.
•Development experience in scripting language including but not limited to Perl, expect, shell scripting, JavaScript, etc.
•Experience with automated systems monitoring a plus.
•Significant experience with web based technologies including HTTP language, browser technologies, HTTP related testing and load testing utilities (ab, JMeter, wget, etc) etc.
•Should be very comfortable on various operating systems, including Linux, Solaris and Windows environment.•Should be very comfortable with database technologies (SQL Server and Oracle) including but not limited to SQL queries, db setup and configuration, etc.
•Client side (html / browser) experience a plus•Client side (java application) experience a plus, but not necessary
