Senior Operations Associate

One of the largest branches in the Baltimore Smith Barney system is in search of a Sr. Operations Associate to work in a very busy operations center. Daily duties will include coding and scanning account documents, receiving and distributing incoming mail, maintaining operations files and processing account transfers. Other duties may include receiving incoming securities and payments, prioritizing and transmitting orders, check processing, processing trade corrections, report preparation and other duties as assigned. This position will be cross-trained to be able to perform all of the operations functions.

This is a very fast paced environment which requires an individual to be able to work quickly and ACCURATELY. The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and clients is essential. Must also have a working knowledge of applicable compliance rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
A college degree is preferred plus 2 years of experience OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years industry experience is required.
