Job Description:
The Marketing Manager for Asset Management (which includes hedge funds, private equity, and registered mutual funds) will be responsible for working closely with the Asset Management Industry Sector leadership team to develop effective and comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to support business goals for each of the primary targets within the sub-sectors of the sector. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for managing the marketing budget and tracking the ROI of the marketing initiatives. Leveraging existing E&Y communications and develop and expand the Sector’s thought leadership efforts. Identifying, leveraging and coordinating E&Y’s presence at appropriate, targeted industry conferences. Developing appropriate marketing collateral to help drive client touch points including but not limited to capabilities brochures, client newsletters, point-of-view decks, surveys and white papers to help position our services and communicate how we can best solve our client’s business needs specific to asset management firms. Developing, organizing and managing appropriate client events such as web casts, client seminars, roundtables and symposiums. Working with other practice areas of the Firm to ensure synergies across practice lines (e.g., tax, TSRS, Risk Management). Develop an internal communications plan to help increase internal visibility in existing Firm publications Develop and maintain robust global qualifications for the asset management sector. Serves as liaison with National Communication for shared services in the areas of marketing and public relations

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field 7 + years experience managing marketing communications programs ideally at a leading asset management firm. In-depth understanding of the various areas within the asset management sector and of the issues facing the industry Excellent organizational skills, writing and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to deal with individuals at all levels of a fast-paced organization
