Senior Input Operator

The Senior Input Operator works on an on-line computer terminal or personal computer to enter or transmit data on a daily basis, following established procedures. Enters alpha, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer using format displayed on screen and knowledge of applicable coding system. Verifies and balances data entered and corrects data entry errors. Researches and resolves problems using resources and procedures available.
REQUIREMENTS
Problem solving skills are required to resolve problems. Ability to operate a keyboard to enter data into computer. Basic math skills are needed to reconcile and balance, concentrate and pay close attention to detail when inputting data. Ability to prioritize work to meet schedule deadlines. Experience: 6-12 months of related data entry experience.
