Premier mid sized and growing financial service company seeks a degreeg individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join it's internal ( not an administrator ) hedge fund finance / accounting team. Company is looking for self-motivated individuals who want to be part of a fast-growing department. Will be involved in the performance of daily p&L reporting and month-end close process; preparation of financial statements; ability to assist in the year-end audit and K-1 (tax) preparation. Responsibities will also include financial reporting and product controller functions for various types of globally oriented domestic and offshore hedge funds. products traded by the funds include equities, bonds, mortgages, financing, futures, swaps, options, and FX as well as accurate calculation of fund net asset values and investor accounting. These positions are highly visible due to the fact that you will be dealing with all levels of management which will create other opportunities within the company. REQUIREMENTS
Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferably from another hedge / mutual fund accounting environment.
