Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified local Charlotte, NC candidate will want to work in a positive, team-oriented environment and will be comfortable working with senior management. They will have a “can do” approach to all tasks.

Among the responsibilities will be:

•Produce and analyze monthly financial statements and sales reports for senior management
•Assist in creating and analyzing budgets, profitability models and results for the firm
•Assisting Director of Finance in month-end closing functions for the Broker Dealer such as general ledger entries, reconcilements, and allocations.
•Proactively developing process and internal control improvements in a private company environment
•Working on special projects as requested by management.
REQUIREMENTS

oStrongly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
oKnowledge of Peachtree/Great Plains accounting systems preferred
•BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
•Minimum 3 years experience in financial analysis and reporting, public accounting or similar background
•Financial services experience (i.e., investment brokerage, bank based investment or insurance services) is preferred.
