Senior Financial Analyst (Analyst IV)

This position will require a financial professional to assist in the various reporting processes at the Miller School of Medicine, conduct financial and planning analyses as assigned by management, collaborate in building and maintaining financial models included but not limited to, revenue/cost models that summarize several different scenarios around growth and expansion initiatives, develop sensitivity analyses in conjunction with financial models and financial projections, assist with the development of financial plans and incremental cost/benefit analysis, routinely perform variance and historical analysis, prepare and ad-hoc reports as needed by senior members of MFB, analyze and coordinate the distribution of a variety of financial data and relevant reports in a clear, concise and timely manner for use by management during critical decision making. The candidate will also assist in project management specifically in the management of physician relationships and the management of reimbursement contracts. The candidate selected will provide support to the Medical Finance Office in all daily activities and other projects as needed.
Requirements include, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field (a Master's Degree preferred; MBA or CPA is desirable) plus, three years of progressive experience. Must demonstrate outstanding financial analytical skills, be a self starter, self learner, as well as present the ability to develop analyses/models for scenarios as needed. Must present the ability to work within a complex and decentralized environment with the skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines, establish priorities, set objectives and achieve stated goals. Other skills include, excellent oral and communicative skills, computer and customer service essential. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience or certifications will be considered.
