Senior Credit Risk Manager

1. Responsible for the evaluation, development and/or enhancement of credit policies related to collateral evaluation; including portfolio monitoring and profitability analysis, policy recommendations and presentations to senior management. Evaluate the performance of existing collateral evaluations methods. Design necessary analytics to ensure positive performance.
Incorporate industry benchmarking and competitive landscape when analyzing collateral options. Partner with Branch Operations, Underwriting and collateral vendors to ensure consistent processing and while working through any recommendations and or objections. Design and coordinate the system enhancements that drive overall product performance and competitiveness.
Confer with in-house systems specialists and financial analysts to improve computer systems as they relate to collateral evaluations. Participate in the development of strategic and operating plans to enhance business growth. Supervise, train and review the work of Credit Risk Analysts on project by project basis. Perform other projects or special assignments as required.

job Requirements



Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent

Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field preferred

Three to five years prior credit risk experience, with a good working knowledge of real estate lending is essential

Must have analytical, computer, and statistical skills as well as ability to approach problems in a quantitative manner

Solid written and oral communication skills

Computer programming skills must include one - two years use of statistical programs like SAS or SAP or advanced use of data base programs HSBC Compensation
