Senior Cost Accountant

We have an immediate need for a career-minded Cost Accountant to join a cornerstone manufacturer located in beautiful Western North Carolina. Our client is looking for an accountant who is driven and looking to join a dynamic employer with strong career growth potential. A qualified individual will manage the standard cost system for the plant and ensure accurate inventory and cost related information are available for management. Duties will include standard costing, maintaining fixed assets, reviewing inventory and adjusting as appropriate, recording month-end closing entries, performing cost trend analysis, preparing the annual burden rate, and a variety of other projects and analysis as it relates to manufacturing operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2 years related experience. Our client will assist with relocation for qualified candidates with pay between $50 and 65k DOE.
