The ideal internal Senior Associate candidate will deliver quality service to top tier clients in our Assurance and Business Advisory Services (ABAS) Banking practice. He/she will be expected to take a consultant’s approach to the attest/assurance process of a client’s operations utilizing PricewaterhouseCoopers’ state of the art analytical and technological tools and best practice's methodologies. This includes annual and financial risk assessment, planning, review by interview, analytical procedures, methods to enhance shareholder value, and focused reviews of information systems. Our client’s and new firm working practices will challenge each professional to work to their fullest potential, resulting in greater responsibility, better training and increased job satisfaction.Overall deliverables: ABAS consulting and reporting on financial and non-financial information, possibly SEC issues, annual audits, quarterly reviews, assistance to internal audit departments, develop and maintain strong client relationships, implementation of new technical standards, increase shareholder value and assess and manage risk with your ideas and intellectual capacity, assist in recruiting/training and development of staff, billable/chargeable hours, looking for opportunities to expand services to solve client’s complex business problems to position PwC as the premier "consultant of choice."
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree required. CPA preferred.Essential Requirements:
The ideal internal Senior Associate candidate will have a minimum of 2 years current public accounting experience in a Big 4, national firm, top local firm or prior major company that has a strong audit client base. At least one year of busy season experience is ideal. A candidate with Banking industry, that has been in a public accounting firm and desires to return to a client services environment will be considered. A solid track record of demonstrated career achievements and academic excellence. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) required
