Securities Lending Portfolio Analyst/Associate

Our client, a Major Commercial Bank located in New York City currently seeks a Security Lending Portfolio Analyst/Associate to support the analysis and maintenance of the banks multi-billion dollar Securities Lending investment portfolio. The Securities Lending Analyst/Associate will be responsible for analyzing potential investments for business and compile a write-up highlighting relevant facts. Our client is offering a base salary range of 65-90K plus bonus.

Job Responsibilities:
•Perform research and financial analysis on sponsors of distressed investments and present results to Securities Lending Investment Desk
•Maintain the Securities Lending Portfolio Manager database and associated data spreadsheets
•Perform ad hoc analysis and support miscellaneous projectsJob Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in finance or business. Graduate Degree preferred
•MS Office
•VBA (beginner or intermediate)
•Bloomberg (beginner or intermediate)
•Finance; structured finance, banking
•Market knowledge (securities lending)
•Accounting and Statistics
