Duties/Responsibilities
Contact and Work Sales Leads generated by the number one mortgage lead source company in the country.
Assess prospective customers' needs, determine their interest in obtaining a loan with Custom Mortgage Solutions, and complete a loan application.
Pre-qualify the customer by determining the customer's credit risk, the requested loan amount, and maximum allowable loan amount, and then calculate the borrower's new monthly payment, monthly savings and interest rate decrease.
Maintain regular contact with the customer to inform the customer of loan status.
Explain and gather the customer documentation required for loan approval.
Review customers documentation, ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, present for approval.
Act as the loan's closing agent walking the customer through all the loan documents and obtaining signatures, if allowed under state law.
Responsible for assisting your loan processor in clearing all funding conditions in a timely manner.
Respond to incoming prospective-customer calls related to loan inquiries.
Provide courteous and responsive service to internal and external customers and potential customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Superior customer service skills, communication and organization skills will be a requirement of the job.
Proficiency with computers and keyboard
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Sound problem solver
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
