SEC Reporting Analyst

Retail Sales AccountantOur client is a well known consumer goods company.
Our well known client has an immediate need for a Retail Sales Accountant. Reporting to the Sr. Accountant, the Retail Accountant will perform general sales audit control functions for our client's retail outlet stores. Responsibilities include entering and maintaining accurate daily register records for each store. You will also Reconcile bank accounts, credit card settlements, inventory and other various sales and expense activity. Major Accountabilities:Process daily transactions.
Reconcile bank cash depository accounts and credit card settlements on a monthly basis.Maintain daily records of sales to ensure proper departmental posting.Sales Tax Collection and Reporting.Pricing Controls & Margin Profitability Analyses & Accurate Costing.Prepare monthly financial statements and various adhoc reports by store location.

REQUIREMENTS
Suitable candidates will have a Bachelors in Accounting and have 1-2 years relevant retail experience.
