Risk Administrator
Vanguard, one of the world's leading investment management companies, seeks a mid-level Risk Administrator to help implement and maintain a Risk Management Program supporting our Financial Advisor Services (FAS) and Institutional Asset Management (IAM).
Working closely with management, you'll help to identify and evaluate risks, exposure, and controls relating to our business objectives, process workflows, and service initiatives. You'll consult on decision-making towards risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, and help the management team analyze costs associated with risk decisions. You'll recommend cost-effective ways to improve the risk management plan and implement solutions approved by management.
As new risk management controls are put into place, you'll educate staff, and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues. You'll regularly report and present to management on progress, issues and opportunities. You will also work with colleagues from our Legal, Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit departments to address issues that arise. You'll respond quickly and monitor issues for corrective action.
