Retail Loan Production Assistant

PURPOSE: Effectively assist the loan officers in the daily origination and packaging of residential loans for submission to Lending Operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Log files into computer system and ensure disclosures have been issued.
2. Follow up on outstanding documentation as directed by loan consultant.
3. Contact loan consultants, borrowers and outside entities on outstanding items.
4. Identify potential problems prior to sending package to District Center.
5. Answer basic loan inquiries from customers.
6. Perform general clerical duties.
7. Receive and greet loan customers and Real Estate agents as directed by loan consultant.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required.P.C. background required.REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must know Empower or equivalent program for entering loans
Must know how to open Title and Escrow reports
Must be able to follow Loan Officer instructionsEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1 year previous Mortgage Loan Experience
Must have computer knowledge including Word and Excel.
