Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include performing the normal duties of a New Accounts Representative such as opening and/or closing accounts and file maintenance. Additional duties include handling pay/receiving transactions selling cashier checks, issuing official checks, filing, telephone inquiries, and assisting in other areas as needed. Cash handling experience required.

REQUIREMENTSRetail Banking SpecialistQualifications: Minimum 1 year New Account or Teller experience, excellent oral and written communications skills in addition to strong and professional telephone etiquette are a must. Individual should have the ability to work within a small group as a team player in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Must have the ability to adapt to change and be flexible with regards to scheduling and working 2-3 Saturdays per month. Individual should have a good working knowledge of FDIC insurance coverage, Bank Secrecy Act regulations, and general new account screening procedures. Individual should also possess the ability to maintain and balance a teller cash drawer on a daily basis in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
