Relationship Banker-Bilingual Spanish Speaking Preferred
The position of Relationship Banker is responsible for proactive relationship building, providing one-on-one personal service to the bank's most valued customers and actively promoting the bank’s services, products and programs. The Relationship Banker’s primary objective is to retain and grow core deposits and services per household.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates a commitment to support the Brand by practicing the Four Principles and consistently adhering to the Ten Practices on a daily basis Retains and expands bank’s existing customer relationships through one-on-one meetings and telephone interviews Maintains and monitors the growth of deposits and services per household Interacts with customers via the telephone to handle sales and service issues Processes a variety of paperwork and/or reports as a result of customer requests, inquiries, and problem solving Communicates information about various bank products to customers. Educates customers on product details and processes requests for new accounts Provides customer service to new and existing customers in all areas of personal banking. This includes, but is not limited to, processing account ownerships and ownership changes, CD rollovers, TIN changes, address changes, check orders, bond transactions, and issuing ATM/VISA debit cards Handles monetary processing, to include deposits, withdrawals, and transfers Gathers and processes lost or stolen account information Issues currency transaction reports Assists customers waiting for teller assistance, and works with tellers to obtain monthly and quarterly branch goals Performs duties of a Personal Banker as necessary Performs profiling to uncover current and future financial needs Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS
Required Education & Experience: High school diploma, GED or equivalent Experience: 1-3 years of directly related sales experience Technical Skills: Ability to use a computer, following clear instructions and procedures (electronic mail, basic data entry, listing database information, Outlook, etc.) Even in difficult situations, listens carefully to gain full understanding of complex problems Reads material and identifies relevant details and facts; judges accuracy and appropriateness Ability to write substantive memos/letters clearly and conciselyParticipates frequently and effectively at meetingsMaintains an exceptional phone presence even in difficult or complex situations; responsible for follow-up/record keeping on callsRequires minimal instruction to use new technology, programs or procedures; adapts readily to changes in the workplace Makes sound decisions in challenging situations by considering alternatives Bilingual Spanish speaking preferredCompany Overview:
