Our client is a reputable investment management and research firm who has been around for 25 years. Although they are well known and highly respected, their sales force to date has been centralized. They are now launching a national expansion strategy through the establishment of satellite offices in 25 of the largest cities in the US.

This opportunity is for the position of Regional Vice President. Your role is to be this firm’s representative in your respective market selling investment management services in their wealth management group. They operate a multi-million dollar advertising budget that produces large quantities of quality leads in their target expansion markets.
Although they have enjoyed a great deal of success in gathering assets from their current sourcing methods they know they will be able to substantially increase their sales through local Regional VPs who are visiting these clients face-to-face instead of just by phone from a different city. In addition, they are looking for those that are able to market and cultivate clients through their own networks as well.

Most leads have requested information about how to use the proprietary ranking system (that this firm is so well known for) to improve their portfolio performance or specifically asked if this firm provides investment management services.

They understand your need to build a business in which you have an equity interest and will work with you to achieve this goal.
World Class Research
They are one of the largest providers of independent research in the US. They have seasoned quantitative portfolio managers using quantitative models supported by research from their team of 50 fundamental analysts worldwide maintaining coverage on more than 1500 US and international companies.
A history of making money for their clients
Ignoring transaction costs, the portfolio of stocks ranked #1 by their proprietary ranking system has generated an average return of 30 % per year over the last 25 years. YTD through Aug 2005 their # 1 portfolio is up 15 % VS 2 % for the S&P 500.
HNW and Institutional
The minimum for separate accounts is $100,000. Although your primary focus will be on selling investment management products to individuals they also have attractive products for institutional selling as well.
Transitional draw and bonuses
A transitional draw is provided and initial cash bonuses are awarded based upon performance after your first 6 months.

Office expenses, generous mileage reimbursements, corporate credit card, food and entertainment expenses are covered.
Income potential
At the beginning of your 2nd year your annual income should exceed $200,000. Your trails primarily range from 30bps to 75bps. Your trails do NOT go down in subsequent years. As long as you are still the Regional VP and those assets are managed by our client you will receive the same trails year after year. Therefore, your income is able to grow exponentially as you continue to gather additional assets year after year. There are no earnings caps placed on your income.
This may not be for you
We’re not looking for just anybody. This isn’t the easiest sales position available out there. We are looking for individuals who can show prior financial selling success that lives to get in front of the client to close the sale. Although you will likely gather tens of millions in assets annually through the warm leads provided we are looking for the entrepreneur who will target their own networks as well. We are not interested in those who would be satisfied to coast making a couple hundred thousand dollars per year. We will only be bringing on those who have the long term ambitions (but may lack the tools or value proposition at their current firm) to be among the financial elite in annual compensation.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
•You have an active series 63/65
•You have the sales skills to close leads provided to you
•You want to devote your career to building a wealth management practice
•You have a network to prospect
•You have prior success in selling financial products
•You have excellent communication skills
•You are a driven, entrepreneurial self starter
•Prior fee based selling success a plus
