Regional Manager-Retail Banking
Location: 4000 W Brown Deer Rd,Brown Deer,WisconsinWe are seeking a self motivated, enthusiastic, professional to join our team as a Regional Manager for Retail Banking. As a Regional Manager, primary responsibilities will include the following: Plans, directs and coordinates the sales and operations of the bank branches located within their region. Supervises Branch Managers. Also oversees support staff dedicated to that region. 2)Administers the Bank's Business Development Program; Encourages and coaches employees toward successful completion of goals. Helps develop, reviews, and adjusts business development plans for each branch. Reviews the performances of staff in relationship to the goals set; coaches personnel toward the achievement of goals. Develops company level goals with senior management. Adjusts business development plan where necessary to provide maximum opportunity for success. Assists in coaching staff on effective selling techniques. Ensures branch staffing is at Staffing Model. Interviews, screens and hires branch management personnel. Conducts periodic meetings for Manager, Asst. Managers, and other branch personnel to introduce new products, review operations, and communicate company information. Provides operational expertise, Handles general administrative functions, including: Prepares division and unit budgets annually Conducts salary/performance reviews Reviews/monitors potential losses and charge-offs, including teller over/short, returned checks. Perform weekly branch visits to review sales results and marketing efforts. Coordinate marketing efforts with Corporate and be responsible to monitor local competition and recommend appropriate action. Serves as liaison between in-store staff and senior management and all other divisions of the bank. Implementing marketing plans. Handles customer complaints. Maintains audits and security standards. Responds to all bank robberies. Assists managers in dealing with marginally performing staff. Reviews monthly profit and loss statements for division and individual units. Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise up to 15 employees each. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems QUALIFICATIONS Education: Post high school education or college degree Experience: Proven branch experience of 5-10 years in a management role Skills: Ability to supervise staff at multi-units Ability to train/develop personnel in all aspects of branch management Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships. Demonstrated social skills Excellent verbal/non verbal skills Self-sufficient Ability to adjust to flexible hours Ability to sell products and services Essential Functions: Physical Qualifications (Communications, Lifting, etc.) Read Write Speak clearly over phone and in one-on-one conversations and to large groups of people. Receive communication via phone Observe visual activities and behaviors of subordinates Handle teller transactions; use computer system Operate 10-key calculator
