Recovery System Administrator - (Citi Cards, Kansas City)

Peripheral support is also provided to vendor management, cards technology and various accounting functions.This position reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user requirements; formulates systems functionality to parallel overall business strategies; writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify system process and programs; consults with users to identify current operation procedures and to clarify program objectives. Position will assist in the design and development of systemic processes, and redesign of existing systemic flows to fulfill the needs of the user. Provides consultation in the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. Recognized as an application expert that recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
REQUIREMENTS


Qualified candidates must have quantitative experience in systems administration and be capabile of analyzing complex data configurations and systemic process flows. The candidate must have the ability to make sound judgments and reasonable business decisions in conjunction with various business units and vendors. Candidate should have the ability to manage complex projects with little or no supervision. Excellent follow up and organizational skills are also required. Applicants should have the capacity and desire to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, focus on successful teamwork and possess strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.



Experience with the following desktop software and technologies (or equivalent) is required: Win2K, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Access, Visio, MS Project, PGP, Monarch, RUMBA, IBM OS/390 z Series, VSAM, NDM, TCP/IP SAR, SAS, Oracle, PL/SQL, Access+, Cobol, JCL.
