The Global Fund Accounting Supervisor will work in conjunction with the GFA Section Manager to ensure process controls and best practices are followed for expense and capital stock processing. Supervisors will focus on improving the expense and capital stock processes to maximize quality and efficiency. Supervisors will be evaluated on their ability to identify and close process gaps, train and manage staff, and provide accurate data to the Client Service Group within deliverable standards. Supervisors will responsible for the effective direction and supervision of 4-6 employees. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate data and information from the group is provided to CSG within pre-determined deadlines. Review and confirm daily the accuracy of all funds expense and capital stock transactions, general ledger entries, offline schedule updates, and subsidiary ledgers. Identify and close processing gaps and risks. Respond accurately and timely to all audit requests. Field and respond to all CSG and Administration inquiries within agreed upon standards. Interview and hire job applicants. Conduct performance appraisals. Coach, train, and motivate individuals for success. Promote a cohesive team atmosphere while developing individual career paths. Ensure adherence to all established procedures, controls, and best practices. Enhance quality and efficiency in the group by focusing on methods to continuously improve each process. Immediate escalation of processing risks to Section Manager.

REQUIREMENTS
B.A./B.S. Degree Minimum 2 years experience in Fund Accounting/Administration Proven supervisory experience High degree of analytical ability Understanding of Fund Accounting and Administration procedures, controls, and best practices Good understanding of Excel Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure using tact and diplomacy Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to plan and prioritize assignments Ability to keep both staff and management informed of all key developments Ability to motivate staff in a dynamic environment Strong attention to detail
