We are assisting our client, a global alternative investment management/hedge fund firm, in the search for a Quantitative Research Analyst with strong analytical and modeling skills. The primary responsibility will be to perform original theoretical and empirical research on financial market data. The major duties will include: developing new models for existing strategies, developing new trading strategies, and giving lectures on various aspects of mathematical finance to members of the group. This role will require a strong analytical, financial modeling and valuation skills. Strong quantitative and computer programming skills will be key.

REQUIREMENTS

PhD in statistics, mathematics, engineering, physical sciences, or finance from a top tier institution required
1-3 years of modeling experience
Knowledge in derivatives a plus
Understanding of options pricing and asset pricing theory
