Quantitative Analyst -- Statistics

Major financial firm in Los Angeles has two openings in its research groups for quantitative analysts with strong backgrounds in statistics. Successful candidates will contribute to the specification and estimation of the default and prepayment models that are used to price mortgage backed securities (MBS). One of the positions is for someone with at least one year of experience in finance or the pharmaceutical industry. The other is for a new PhD.
REQUIREMENTS
PhD in statistics or related discipline and strong programming skills in SAS and/or C++, with or without industry experience.
