Programmer Analyst II

Develops, maintains, and enhances business applications providing specialized technical or business knowledge to projects. Utilizes a variety of computing architectures (e.g., client/server, intranet, Web) or mainframe platforms. Collaborates with City National Bank (CNB) clients, Information Services colleagues, CNB colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. Banking and /or Financial Services Experience required.Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, or equivalent work experience and technical training required.
3 to 5 years experience in business application design, development installation, and modification in an online environment required.
Banking and/or Financial Service Experience Required
Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in application development in new computing architectures and environments required (e.g., client/server, Web.)
Knowledge of relevant technology, tools, Windows and middleware is required.
Knowledge of C/C++ desired.
Must have the ability to work at the highest technical level of all phasesof applications programming activities.

Experience with structured design, development, and implementation of new computing architectures required.
Must have a good understanding of the business or function for which application is designed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms required.
Must be proficient in debugging techniques and technical problem analysis.
Good knowledge of project management technique is required.
