Program Leader - Banking Projects
Program Leader – Banking Operations – Doral, FLoridaThis position does not require extensive IT project management or technical skills. Candidate should possess the ability/experience to manage technical and non-technical projects including but not limited to ( Finance/Hr/ and other related banking divisions). Candidates with banking or BPI experience will be preferred. Handle the needs of the Business and Support Units of various Banking projects with the purpose of supervising and controlling the evaluation and development of the programs that have been designed, following the strategic guidelines established by the upper management, and the administration methodologies for the designed projects.
Work as a liasion between assigned Program Leader and Business Managers (clients). Channel all projects identified as “minor requirements” in an expedited and efficient manner to the respective are in Operations and Technology responsible for it’s execution.Maintain frequent and open lines of communication with respective Program Leader regarding key developments, key issues, etc.Ensure that all policies and procedures developed by the PPM Management be implemented in the execution of projects.Lend support to the Project Leaders regarding the interdependence between projects and priorities within the assigned program.Understand strategic business initiatives and current portfolio as it relates to assigned program and objective. Ensure that the Project Leaders understand clearly the business goals of each project, and that the projects be completed to the satisfaction of the client.Follow up with other areas of Operation & Technology on specific projects for the assigned Program in order to ensure progress, resolution of issues, and effective execution according to the established methodology.Maintain a customer and service quality focus. Identify and report to immediate supervisor any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or nonconformance with, laws, rules, regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards.Commercebank offers an excellent benefits package that includes:

REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements:Bachelors degree Computer Science or related field.Experience Requirements:
Over 5 years of experience in the area of Project Management in a Technology, Banking Operations, or Business Process Improvement related environment.
- Must have experience directing/managing technical or non-technical project team personnel.Other Essential Knowledge: Specific knowledge of the processes in the business area under its responsibility are highly desirable. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Projects), Flowcharting and quality tools. The incumbent must have proven experience in dealing with personnel at various levels of the organization. Bilingual English/Spanish required.Decision-Making: Adopt tactical and strategic decisions concerning the guidelines to be followed in the implementation of programs.
