Private Equity: Analyst/Associate

CLIENT PROFILE:
Our client, a top investment firm, has an immediate need for an analyst/associate to join their direct capital group. This group has funding and a broad mandate to provide capital in the form of senior debt, mezzanine finance, bridge financing and equity to finance a variety of transactions including distressed and turnaround situations, LBO's, acquisitions and growth opportunities to both public and private businesses in all industries.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investment/transaction review
Modeling and valuation
Structuring and negotiation
Portfolio monitoring and management
Follow on investment and realizations


REQUIREMENTS

At least 1-3 years experience of M&A, corporate finance or private equity experience
The ideal candidate would have 2 years of IB experience and 2 years of PE experience
Strong analytical skills, proficient financial modeling capability
Outstanding communications capabilities, both written and oral
A demonstrated passion for investing
BA or MBA
