Private Banking Relationship Manager

Commerce Bank is looking for an ideal candidate for our Private Banking Relationship Manager position. The person will be responsible for:
- Managing existing customer portfolio of high income/high net worth individuals and retaining customers while developing significant cross-sales opportunities;
- Actively calling on prospects with a focused effort on developing profitable new business for the bank;
- Generating significant referrals of sales of profitable business to other areas of the bank specifically Trust, Retail and Commercial Banking.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, the candidate must possess the following:
- A 4-year college degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance or marketing;
- 2-4 years of commercial calling experience;
- Effective sales background with a successful track record;
- Solid knowledge of a wide spectrum of banking experience from investments to deposit products;
- Strong credit background and solid understanding and comfort in structuring and working with larger commercial, mortgage and personal credits for high income/high net worth private banking clients;
- Excellent ability to conduct a well-organized, energetic, effective and consistent outside calling program that yields significant new business with a focus on delivering solutions best suited for diverse customer base;
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
- High motivation to succeed with the knack to self-start any task.
