About Private Client Services:Over 3,700 associates in Private Client Services provide advice, strategies and solutions for all aspects of the financial, asset management and wealth transfer needs of JPMorgan's high net worth clients. Private Client Services' client support includes Financial Planning, Investments and Portfolio Management, Private Banking and Trust/Fiduciary Services.
About our opportunity:
This Private Banker Sr. is an expert on credit, deposit, and other banking services. Serves as relationship manager for deposit and credit accounts. Is team link to National Private Banking credit center. Banker is important pipeline for investment referrals. These are experienced professionals responsible for identifying prospective clients, preparing presentations, following up on client contacts, and closing the sale of private banking products and services. Typically responsible for larger or more complex accounts. Coordinates sales effort with investment managers. May provide guidance to more junior staff. Has comprehensive knowledge of Commercial, Consumer and Treasury Services products and services. Operates autonomously on large/complex client accounts.
REQUIREMENTS
Typically has 7+ years of sales experience with extensive credit, loan and deposit product background. NASD Series 7, 63, 65, (or) 66 licenses and Health and Life Insurance required.
Experience in managing the financial needs of high net worth clients. This includes working with complex credit and complex balance sheets.
Completion of a formal credit training program.
Commercial or corporate banking experience within a large financial institution.
Successful track record of expanding existing and developing new relationships through an active calling effort.
Work experience within the Private Equity industry, helpful.Knowledge of VLS, deposit systems, AFS and loan systems.
Relationship management skills.
Knowledge of trust basics, investment basics and Financial Planning and Insurance Services.
Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve problems.
Knowledge of account maintenance procedures, loan closing procedures, credit administration and compliance procedures.
