Post-Closing Analyst

- Manage contractual obligations for all product lines in a case file environment.
- Analyze contractual obligations and/or cures for Side Letters, non compliance issues, monetary claims, and repurchases in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage expectations of vendors, clients, and servicers.
- Review post closing and data input of all mortgage documents including appraisals, legal description, and title policy.
- Assure timely response to cure provisions and outstanding claims.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five years mortgage banking; processing and underwriting.
- Knowledge in key areas of operations such as credit collections, customer service, collateral analysis and documentation.
- Proven success in building client/vendor business relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in the coordination of pre-closing and post closing information/documentation requirements.
- An undergraduate degree in Operations Management or Finance, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to move forward with problem resolution despite lack of procedure.
- Strong sense of job ownership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Team leader or managerial experience preferred and willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibility as operation grows and performance warrants.
- Exposure to Secondary Marketing or Trading environment a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access a plus.
- Knowledge with Fidelity (ALLTEL) a plus.
- Familiarity with contractual agreements a plus.
