Physical Securities Specialist

Our Investment Bank is one of the world’s top global investment banking and securities firms, providing a full spectrum of products to institutional and corporate clients, intermediaries, government and hedge funds worldwide.The Physical Securities processing function is a component of North American Asset Services. The available role requires the candidate to have a detailed knowledge in: Physical Securities Negotiability - The candidate must have a working knowledge and understanding of securities negotiability, the NYSE Securities Medallion program and general legal/functional requirements to clear transfers of equity securities. Restricted Securities Legend Removal Process - Ideally, the candidate must have a through understanding of the necessary requirements and documents required to clear restrictions such as 144A, 144K and Rule 145. The candidate will be responsible for communications with transfer agents, legal council and corporations. Physical Securities Receive / Deliver - A basic knowledge and understanding of the NSCC NY Window and DTC CUSTODY service is essential. Experience within Settlement Operations is a plus and will help fulfil the requirements associated with the role.The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of the following applications: ADP, DTC and LOANNET.The candidate should be able to work independently and be a self-starter. This role requires constant communication with external agents, traders and internal counterparts so strong verbal skills are required for the role. 2+ years of related experience
Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
