Payroll Tax Account Manager

EEO/M/F/D/VThe Tax Service Representative will serve as primary liaison between customer, internal departments and tax jurisdictions for assigned account base.


Responsibilities include:Resolve customer issues in a professional, qualitative and responsive manner.
Maintain customer master data for account base, including jurisdictional data, and maintain documentation of all issues that may have a fiscal or tax impact on the account.
Prioritize all incoming customer issues and ensure all required completion timeframes are met. This includes information requests received from customers, other internal departments, and tax jurisdictions.Initiate proactive problem resolution via technical and creative problem solving.
Exercise technical skills, access available resources and utilize system/desktop tools in resolving and following through on customer tax issues.
Coordinate or escalate problem resolution with other internal or external departments as required.Analyze and process incoming quarterly and year end data to generate a quality resolution, minimizing penalty and interest exposure.Other duties as assigned by management.May require overtime during critical production timeframes.

Qualifications:College degree or a minimum of two years of customer service account experience.
Familiarity with payroll and/or payroll taxes a plus.
Demonstrate analytical ability, technical and quality orientation in problem resolution and servicing.
Excellent communication/negotiation skills, both oral and written, since position requires contact will all levels of customer and internal personnel.Must be able to manage customer base in organized, proactive and independent manner to meet all requires timeframes and commitments.
Proficiency in working within Windows environment, business applications and proprietrary desktop tool sets.
