Part-time Teller

Washington State Employees Credit Union is current looking for a Part-time Teller for our 1500 Fairview Ave East branch. The position provides excellent member service as defined by WSECU’s Brand Promise while promoting a diversified range of products and services. You will perform member transactions within operating guidelines and code of conduct standards. Also, it is required for you to listen carefully to assess member needs and identify opportunities to offer appropriate product and service solutions.


HOURS
Monday – Friday, 10:45 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Scheduling flexibility is required to meet business needs.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION
Required: High school level or greater. Previous customer service experience.
Preferred: Computer training and financial institution experience.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Required: Effective listening skills. Tactful oral and written communication. Ability to form recommendations. Ability to count, disburse, accept, record, and balance cash. Ability to research and solve numeric discrepancies. Must be member service oriented and have the ability to cross-sell products and services. Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred: Data entry experience and communication training.
