Part Time Personal Banker-Oaklawn

What will you be doing?

Educate new and existing customers about the features and benefits of FAB personal banking products.

Assist customers in selecting the products and services that best meet their needs and goals. Cross sell other bank products to new/existing customers.

Make approval decisions based on verification performed and prepare all related documentation.

Assist business customers in selecting the products and services that best meet their business needs. Cross sell other bank products to new/existing business customers.

Perform all daily personal banking tasks, including but not limited to: opening accounts; closing accounts; account maintenance; ordering of checks. Issue ATM cards and instruct customers of proper use.

Perform opening/closing procedures of the branch. This includes possession of keys as well as combinations to various vaults.

Assist in customer-issue resolution. This includes performing research, reviewing transactions, and redirecting customers to appropriate resources when necessary.

Assist in branch sales initiatives. Including, but not limited to: identifying customers for other products, such as investments and loans, and referring them to such; participation in calling programs to new/existing customers; preparation of mailers to new/existing customers.

Participate in telemarketing and working of onsite trade shows and other sales related events.
REQUIREMENTS
What do you need to qualify?

High School degree or equivalent. College degree in business or related field a plus.

Minimum 1 year of personal banking or customer service experience preferred. Previous Teller experience a plus.

Good figure aptitude and previous experience with any online banking systems preferred.

Strong customer service skills to provide FAB’s high standard of service.

Good communication skills that allows individual to effectively interact with both customers and co-workers.

Must have flexible schedule. For example: An average work week up to 30 hours might consist of 4 week days and 1 Saturday.

Must be flexible to travel locally. This position may require assisting other branches within region on a regular basis.
