Palmer location:
Monday - 8:30-3:15 Thursday - 10:30-5:00 Friday 10:00-6:00EVERY OTHER SATURDAY FROM 8:30 TO NOON IS REQUIRED OF ALL TELLER
POSITIONS.
REQUIREMENTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Sales:
a.Complete available Product Knowledge; demonstrate a thorough
knowledge of all bank deposit products and services and a working
knowledge of loan products.
b.Successfully complete CSA Referral Training Program.
c.After completion of CSA Referral Training Program, achieve
individual goals for bank product and FFA referrals, and other product
sales as appropriate.
d.Actively participate in Branch sales meetings, sales
training, and sales coaching.
e.Achieve bank expectations for achieving of quality customer
service. (Currently measured by Mystery Shopper program).
2.Customer Service:
a.Transactions:
ØProcessing savings deposits by verifying customer and account
balances and updating passbooks.
ØProcessing commercial and individual checking deposits by
verifying cash, endorsements, and issuing receipts.
ØProcessing checks and savings withdrawals following banks
check cashing/savings withdrawal policy.
ØAccepting payment for club accounts, installment loans,
mortgage loans, commercial loans, safe deposit rentals, and utilities.
ØSelling and providing remittance of bank money orders, cashier
checks, EE bonds, traveler's checks, and food stamps.
ØCompleting paperwork for certified checks and stop payments.b.Account Services:
ØOpening and closing all accounts, preparing corresponding
documentation and following security precautions.
ØCompleting title changes.
ØCompleting direct deposit forms.
ØOrdering customer supplies such as checks, deposit, and s/w
tickets.
ØProcessing IRA deposits, withdrawals and closings.
ØOpening and closing safe deposit boxes.
ØProcessing wire transfers.
ØCompleting overdraft protection forms.
ØProcessing ATM changes.
ØReconciling customer's statements.
ØOrdering and negotiating foreign currency.
ØFollowing proper disclosure, quote deposit and loan rate.
ØReceives and responds to customer inquiries regarding all bank
services.
ØAdmits customers to safe deposit boxes.
3.Performs other duties related to the operation of position
including:
a.Processing night depository items and mail deposits.
b.Packaging coin and currency including mutilated funds.
c.Verifying loose coin deposits utilizing counting equipment.
d.Placing holds and memo posting to accounts.
e.Utilizing correct security procedures.
f.Monitors and orders branch supplies.
g.Preparing daily settlement and proof of cash transactions.
h.Processing MC/Visa cash advances and settling terminal.
i.Settling and proving ATM.4.Complies with Bank Secrecy Act by completing CTR or Currency
Transaction Log when necessary.
5.Participates in bank-sponsored activities, projects, and
training.
6.Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as requested.high level of maturity and responsibility
