PCG Product Manager

Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: Investment Advisors Location: Madisonville Office Building, Cincinnati, OHGENERAL FUNCTION:
Responsible for the management and development of products to meet the needs of clients in all segments of the Private Client Group including investment management, trust services, wealth planning, risk management services, brokerage and private banking services.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluate and understand marketplace data to determine the impact that key changes in the marketplace will have on the PCG product set.

Compile and monitor competitor information relative to product offerings, product pricing, product features, delivery channels, marketing strategies/initiatives, etc.

Monitor industry trends, including emerging technologies, and changes in investor sentiment to anticipate changes to existing products or new products that will need to be developed.

Monitor changes in demographics within the Fifth Third footprint to understand how those changes impact market segments, product offerings, features, etc.

Monitor overall economic trends to assess the impact on current and future product offerings.

Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assess the impact of those changes on current and future product offerings.

Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback as it relates to product features, pricing, delivery channels, etc.

Develop and maintain a long-range strategic PCG product plan aligned with Executive Direction.

Develop a long-range strategic plan for each product that aligns with the overall product plan.

Manage the product continuum by identifying product features, requirements and target market.

Evaluate pricing and features on current product set to determine competitive position based on marketplace data and manage any initiatives related to changes in product pricing or features based on this data.

Define product features and pricing strategies to provide local market flexibility while maintaining consistent, efficient delivery aligned with Bancorp standards and objectives.

Support and champion the consistent delivery of product features, pricing, etc. in accordance with pre-defined standards across the footprint to help ensure a repeatable customer experience.

Develop new products based on marketplace trends, consumer demand, sales force feedback, etc.

Perform build vs. buy analysis relative to new product offerings.

Prepare business cases and product profitability analysis in partnership with IA Finance for all proposed product offerings.

Design the initial set-up, delivery, sales process and on-going support of new product.

Test market products and adjust features, pricing and delivery channels based on feedback

Act as a liaison on product related issues and coordinate development of new products with all necessary business partners.

Serve as a resource for product wholesalers and the sales force on product and delivery channel selection.

Coordinate development of products to be delivered through IA line of business with other Bancorp business partners such as Retail, FTPS, Mortgage, Commercial, etc.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; completing all required performance management and compensation processes; recognizing and rewarding employee accomplishments.
Job RequirementsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in the investment advisory, trust or brokerage industry.

Strong project management skills desired.

Proficient with MS-Windows, MS Office and other PC applications.

Posses the desire and ability to learn new applications and automated data analysis tools and techniques.

Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Demonstrate sound judgment as well as apply logical/critical thought processes E.O.E., M/F/D/V
