Operations Support Associate

Peoples Community Bank, a growing local bank with over $1 Billion in assets, is seeking Full-Time Operations Support Associates to work in our corporate office located in West Chester, OH. Primary responsibilities include providing operational and administrative support to our branch operations in the following areas:

Retail Operations Support

Under the direction and supervision of the Retail Operations Assistant Manager, the Retail Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for providing operational and administrative support in one of the following key functional areas within the Retail Operations Department:

• IRAs
• Exception Processing
• Electronic Banking
• ATM/Debit Card Processing
• Data Verification

In addition, the Retail Operations Specialist also provides support in secondary areas to ensure that operational requirements of the department are met.

Loan Operations Support

Under the direction and supervision of the Loan Operations Manager, the Loan Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for providing operational and administrative support in the following areas of the Loan Operations Department:

• New Loan Review
• Payoffs/Releases/Research
• Data Verification

Responsible for ensuring operation requirements are met by coordinating the work flow in and out of the Loan Operations Department.
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of banking experience is required; work experience in a specialized area of Retail or Loan Operations (i.e. IRAs or Secondary Lending) is a plus.
• Knowledge and Skills: Must have proficiency working with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. Solid keyboarding and calculator skills required.
• Personal Competencies: To perform the job successfully, the Retail and Loan Operations Specialist should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Problem solving - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Customer service - responds promptly to branch and customer questions in an efficient manner. Be able to communicate well in a patient manner with customers.
• Planning/organizing - prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
• Quality control - demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality; applies feedback to improve performance.
• Quantity - meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
• Adaptability - adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Confidentiality - maintains confidentiality of customer information and maintains confidentiality of bank information, business activities, or other activities of Peoples Community Bank which are not intended for public knowledge or employee communication.
• Dependability – reports to work consistently and on time; follows instructions; responds to management direction; solicits feedback to improve performance.
