Wholesale Lockbox Manager
In this position with U.S. Bank, you will:
Be responsible for managing "day to day" Wholesale Lockbox operations as well as Customer Service Staff, within the Seattle Lockbox site
Be responsible for 34 permanent FTE, which includes one exempt, direct report, and manages up to 100 temporary employees during quarterly peak processing periods.
Be measured against productivity and quality goals, project implementation and
completion, and Audit Compliance
Provide a broad range of technical and operational support functions for department, including hiring, coaching, monitoring of financials, work flow analysis with
attention to scheduling of staff
Have a high focus on customer service
Administer corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
While we expect that you’ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require:
Experience in managing workflow, operational changes in production and
process improvement, and monitoring staffing levels to meet quality and
efficiency objectives
Working knowledge of Windows desktop applications
An overall comfort level with Word, Excel, Access, and ability to navigate through computer systems
Lockbox operations and a familiarity with software and hardware used in Lockbox
sites a plus
Good organizational, managerial and project management skills
Well-developed customer relations skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Excellent supervisory and management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines of a fast-paced environment
Well-developed knowledge of banking operations and human resources (hiring and coaching staff)
Experience in setting up training programs and monitoring new employee results is
desired
A four-year college degree and/or five years' equivalent managerial work experience with bank operations
