We are searching for an experienced Chief Credit Officer. The position of Chief Credit Officer is responsible for providing support, direction, credit information, and loan policies and procedures to endure the overall quality of the lending portfolio. Qualified candidate will perform direct supervisory duties of department staff, and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department. Assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
Define and restructure the company's credit management policies as well as develop key strategies and provide support in product development, project management, compliance, corporate underwriting, field support, and marketing.
Work with key production staff; develop credit policy and procedures to ensure risk is in sync with company credit standards.
Provide insight into underwriting processes.
Monitor performance of portfolio, conducting interest rate and asset concentration analyses.
Create, monitor, and maintain credit-scoring standards.
Participate in regulatory reviews and audit examinations.
Update and implementation of all underwriting policies and procedures.
Implementing overall credit policy and philosophy consistent with corporate approach to risk
Guide the creation of credit and underwriting standards
On-going monitoring of credit risk.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in experience in credit analysis or similar training specifically in the areas of mortgage origination and lending.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred
Experience managing staff of credit analysts
A good understanding of credit risk, particularly as it relates to emerging markets.
Strong analytic, management and communications skills
Excellent PC abilities, especially in MS Office programs.
