Summary of Duties

Operational Senior Audit Manager for Global Markets.
Part of a team of four Senior Audit Managers responsible for a staff of 20 in the Americas.
A specialist in the retail mortgage origination in the Americas. Knowledge of asset securitization.
Comprehensive understanding of local regulatory matters and state laws that are impacted by Mortgage Origination.
Has experience of auditing branch networks.
Has worked on business integration plans for new acquisitions.
Ensures successful implementation of risk based audits both locally and globally.
Reviews audit work completed by the team.
Drafts audit reports for review by the Chief Auditors.
Facilitates issue tracking and validates closure of issues.
Implements dynamic planning through continuous monitoring of the business.
Drives the recruitment, training and appraisal of the Audit team.
Contributes to the Core Risk Matrices.
Works in a coordinated manner with Senior Audit Managers both locally and globally.
Is a natural role model and reference point for peer group.
Develops ideas which are implemented and have positive impact on Group Audit.
Understands clients marketplace and responds to expectations.
Creates an environment which attracts and retains talent for succession planning.

REQUIREMENTS
Significant knowledge of Mortgage Origination (essential) and Securitization (preferred).
Knowledge of Regulatory and Credit Risk.
Significant Audit experience ( 8-10 years plus) in a Big 4 accounting firm or major bank.
Multitask assignments and is able to prioritize with minimum supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self sufficient and innovative.
Owns targets set, takes responsibility and meets them within budget.
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting is preferred.
Other languages would be a big advantage.
